Winter on the Hill - Staten Island, NY 

Join Wagner alumni and friends and return to campus for Winter on the Hill as we support the men’s basketball team and the acclaimed Wagner College Theatre Department! During the afternoon, the Seahawks will take on the Colonials from Robert Morris in a 4:00 p.m. tilt in the Spiro Sports Center.  Following the game, an alumni dinner will be served in the Faculty Dining Room before the 8 PM curtain-call for IOLANTHE, presented by Wagner College Theatre in Main Hall.

Watch the Seahawks take on the Colonials from Robert Morris in the Spiro Sports Center. Game ticket will also include a reception in the Hall of Fame room with refreshments beginning at 3:30 P.M. until halftime.

Iolanthe combines (William) Gilbert at his funniest and most satiric with a (Arthur) Sullivan score...The Iolanthe story, pitting a corps of fairies against the House of Peers, has delighted audiences since 1882, when it became the first G&S opera to have its premiere at the Savoy Theatre. It ran for 398 performances, replete with sparkly wands, courtesy of that new-fangled discovery, electricity (Carol E. Davis, Opera News).
