Wagner Weekend 2023

Thank you for your interest in Wagner Weekend! Online registration is now closed. For events on Friday, we will be accepting on-site registration for the 50th Reunion Golden Seahawks Luncheon and Grand Celebration directly at the event location. 

For events held on Saturday, you can register on-site at the designated event locations. For Wagner Weekend on the Oval, on-site registration will be held from 1-3:15 p.m. Football game tickets will be sold at the stadium ticket booth only. If you have already registered for the Oval and football tickets, your packet will be available for pick-up from 1-3:15 PM. Wagner Weekend (Homecoming & Reunion) is back this September 22-23, 2023! This is an amazing opportunity for the Wagner community to come together and celebrate the past, present, and future of our great institution. Wagner Weekend gives all Seahawks the chance to relive old memories and create new ones.

The weekend’s festivities will feature both Homecoming and Reunion activities to enjoy with your friends and family. This year’s weekend kicks off on Friday with a 50th Reunion Golden Seahawks Luncheon, followed in the evening by student and family activities, and the Grand Celebration for alumni! During the Grand Celebration, we will honor our anniversary class years, the 2023 alumni award recipients, and celebrate with dinner and dancing! Saturday’s festivities include a Memorial Service featuring the alumni and student choir and the Hall of Fame Induction. Then, join us on the Oval for food, fun, and entertainment. We will enjoy fare from some of Staten Island’s favorite restaurants and alumni-owned businesses. Celebrate with music, interactive games, and our Float Parade, a long-standing tradition dating back 50 years. Finally, we’ll culminate Wagner Weekend to cheer on our Seahawks as they take on the Merrimack College Warriors.

Golden Seahawks and friends welcome graduates of the class of 1973 into their ranks! All Golden Seahawks (members of any graduating class prior to 1973), family, and friends are invited to attend this fun-filled celebration. You will also get the chance to meet our Wagner College President Angelo Araimo. Lunch, wine, and beer will be available for all attendees.

Friday September 22
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Join us to celebrate your reunion, our 2023 Alumni Association Award winners, and your alma mater! Guests will enjoy dinner and drinks followed by a short program hosted by the Alumni Association Board of Directors honoring the service and achievements of our impressive 2023 Alumni Award winners. All guests are expected to remain seated during this program. Immediately following the program, we will continue with our reception. Cocktail attire is suggested for all guests. Please note, no shorts or flip flops permitted. Check-in will be located in the back of the Union. *Important Note: This event is for alumni and their guests only and will be closed to all Wagner students. All participants, regardless of age, MUST register to attend. *Note for students: The Main Dining Hall will be closed from 2:00 pm on and there will be no dinner service. Make sure to head over to the student events hosted by the Office of Student Engagement and Activities instead!

Warm up those vocal cords with fellow members of the Alumni Choir - just like the old days! Select members of our student choir will also join to meet and mingle with alumni. Light breakfast will be available at 8:00 a.m. with rehearsal to follow promptly at 8:45 a.m. before the Memorial Service.

Remember and honor the contributions of alumni and friends of the College whom we have recently lost. Special performance by select members of the Wagner College Alumni Choir and Student Choir. Check-in is at Pape House Rear Lawn.

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This is the can't-miss event of the weekend! Join us on the Oval for our best Wagner Weekend celebration yet. We will have a variety of food and soft drink options from local Staten Island restaurants and alumni-owned businesses, along with a beer and wine tent. Attendees can vote on the best banner presented by student organizations, which will be displayed on our Wagner Weekend float. Entertainment and fun for all ages will include a rock-climbing wall, variety performers, games, and more! You won't want to miss this jam-packed kick-start to the big game! Before the game, enjoy a mini-parade and cheer on our football team and the Wagner Weekend Royalty Court on our float. Please note, food and drinks will be available for purchase by ticket (Wagner bucks) only. One ticket is a $1 value. Most food and drink items will range from 2 to 7 tickets. All beer and wine will cost $5 per beverage (5 tickets). Early Seahawk package includes 20 tickets and 1 Wagner Weekend t-shirt per 1 registrant. The first 150 people to sign up with our early Seahawk pricing will receive a discounted Wagner Weekend t-shirt ($10.00 Value). A limited amount of Wagner Weekend t-shirts will be sold on-site.

4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Bring your Seahawk pride over to Wagner College Hameline Stadium and cheer on the Wagner College Seahawks as they take on the Merrimack College Warriors. Enjoy performances by the Wagner Seahawk Marching Band and the half-time Wagner Weekend Royalty coronation. *Students do not need to register for the football game.*
